The domain "molbach.net" is a privately owned web site for members of the Mølbach family originating from Voksenlia in Oslo, Norway, with ancestors from Langesund, Norway. Prior to Voksenlia the family lived at Nordstrand and Billingstad, both in the Oslo area.
This page in English is a summary of all pages.
The domain name gives us the possibility of having e-mail addresses on the form firstname@molbach.net or firstname.lastname@molbach.net for those of us not having Molbach/Mølbach as our last name.
The E-mail Service Base Level gives you a personal e-mail address @molbach.net as a forwarding address (alias). The address will be connected to your current email address and mailbox and you will read and handle your mail the same way you do today. This service is free.
The E-mail Service Prime Level offers you the same address with an independent e-mail account that you can access with your preferred e-mail program on your PC, or you can log in through a simple webmail interface on any PC connected to the Internet. You can try the Prime Level for free for a year but after that it will cost you a small amount per year. If you don't subscribe you will still keep the address at no cost at Base Level.
For inquiries or to obtain your molbach.net e-mail address please send me an email using the address displayed beneath my picture.
On our site we display an old picture most probably showing family members but we do not know who they are or where and when the picture was taken. If you recognise the picture you might have some information for us about it.
We also have some pictures of the Voksenlia family. The seven brothers and sisters as kids at Billingstad, as young adults with their parents at Voksenlia and then the last picture of all seven together in 1991. They are now all passed away. My mother was the last one - in April 2009.
Some of us have profiles on Facebook, and more are hopefully joining. It is a nice way to keep in touch or at least remind each other about our existence. Most profiles and postings are in the Norwegian language. If you have a connection to our family but do not read Norwegian we encourage you to contact us by e-mail (or send a Facebook message). For e-mail please use the address displayed on this page.
We look forward to hearing from you.
